Special Education and Social Services
Suann Foust joined the MS@K team in 2016. She comes to us most recently from Sparta Area Schools, and has 30+ years of experience working with high school students. She has degrees from Michigan State (Go Green!) and Western Michigan. Suann is also a facilitator on our KCTC Challenge Course and coaches youth swimming.
School Social Worker
Robert McCormick has provided social work services to students and families since 1978. He received his BS from Arizona State University and an MSW from Western Michigan University. Rob is a licensed Master Social Worker with the state of Michigan. He focuses on helping students overcome barriers that interfere with school programs.
Kat Welton joined the MS@K staff from private practice in the Grand Rapids area. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Western Michigan University. Her experience includes work with D.A. Blodgett's St. John's Home and she continues to operate the support services provided by The Barn for Equine Learning that offers therapeutic support through an association with horses.
